I am in love with…

It started when I was in fifth grade, There were poems of H W Longfellow which was pretty long , but there was this poem which was only of 4 lines and we had to memorize it, so that was easy and fun. It was then I fell in love with the poet of that poem.

Then I started searching for this guy who wrote these poems. Gradually I got to know that this guy has written lot of Proverbs, Sayings and also has done some innovations as well.

I couldn’t stop wondering about him and by that time I had completely fallen for this guy. I hope of finding him, I started writing blogs, I wrote all kind of funny posts, serious posts also poems so that someday all these I can portray and impress this guy.

And guess what happened next, there was a comment on my blog. Yes it was the same guy I was so thrilled and happy. Finally all my efforts were paid and I was so thrilled that I kept reading his comment again and again. And it goes like this.

Accidently dropped into your blog. Good work, keep writing.

Oh I wish I had some way to contact him and tell him that I have been a huge fan of poems written by Anonymous, Proverbs written by Anonymous, innovations done by Anonymous!

Oh my my!!! I am in love with Anonymous!

Dedicated to all my commenters :D who post comment with no names !!! :D

Excitement in air...

Its end of rainy season in Banglore and winter is set to begin but for me October and November is going to be very hectic, now you know that I am making reason for not posting blogs. Hmmm!!!Ok you can consider that but let me tell you I am not busy with routine work or life. I have so many things lined up. And Guess what these are things which I literally forget world, my age and anything for that matter around me when I am doing these. Here is the small list of things with which I am currently occupied and excited about.

Marriages and Engagements
I truly heartily bless all those beautiful couples who are getting engaged and inviting me, you know what this means to me? So much of shopping, fun, make up, accessorizing, in simple words I am going to shop endlessly on the reason of these young couples getting engaged, married etc… Love you all :D

Trips and tours:
Voila!!!! Year end is fast approaching and I have seriously started hinting my hubby darling that all my friends are going on exotic vacation. And I have to make sure I don’t tell some places in and around Bangalore I should make sure I tell places which I want to visit. So I got to be very creative in telling my hubs that which place I want to visit this year end indirectly. Not that he doesn’t understand my creativity its just my satisfaction.

Dancing and Dancing:
Yes you read it right, I am going on stage in November for some event. It’s only when I started choreographing for the song I realized how much I have wanted to dance. I am reliving my passion, trust me I am forgetting everything around me when I dancing and feeling like a 3 yr old kid for whom world around hardly matters when it wants to sing or dance that’s how exactly I am feeling right now.

Yuuuhuuuuuu this is a glimpse of my excitement, are you giggling??? Hey come on!!! This is how I am, I am excited and happy for every single thing I get to do and see. So guys wait for more of my experiences to be documented and posted.

Love my life!

A marriage in my family

Mom calls up when I was at work:
Amma: Helloooooooooooo (thankfully my colleague beside me did not answer her back)
Me: hmmm amma tell me, talk in low tone I can hear you.
Amma: Arrey  I cant hear you yaaaaaaaaaaaa (Not Again!!! Now I decided to walk out of my cubicle)
Me: ok I will come out of my cubicle

Amma : ya ya you come out, I have to tell you something important!!!
( I thought one of these will be her important discussion as I walked out of my cubicle.
1.  It must be someone from her not so good friends who would have met her in some temple and would have done lot of attitude according to my Amma.
2. Or may be some girl has escaped from home in my native.
3. Or she wants to go out with her yoga class friends and I have to convince my Appa)

Me: Amma tell me now what is it.
Amma: You know what!!! Your cousin, she may be getting married!!!
Me: Amma what so big thing in that, she is of right age and she has to get married this year anyways.
Amma: No No she should have some responsibility, not like this !!!
Me:  oh what happened now!

Amma: Alla!!! Can’t she see you and learn something?  How can she do this??? Or at least see all of us we all her aunts and uncles none of us have done this and how can she even think of getting married like this?

Me: Amma pls be open minded. It’s ok; it’s her choice and interest.

Amma: How to believe that guy will be good? I am not ok with it! Arrey, why don’t you understand this! Her parents, me and your appa, Your both mavas and also you for that sakes  are not married like this and today see are you not happy?  Then why she has to do this!!!What example is she setting for her younger sisters???
Papa my sister I don’t know how she is handling this

Me: Amma pls don’t talk like this lets see, tell me what exactly is your doubt

Amma: Ramya be serious this is somebody’s life! what is this matching horoscope it seems, Bride has to take coffee, serve with all grace to Guy's family and and then again family meeting it for a formal discussion! Everything is fixed in a month or two! what’s all this haan!!! Why of all the things she should be ok with Arranged marriage cant she fall in love with someone!!!

Me: Amma you better talk to her, I have hell lot of work. And Please be informed arranged marriage is very good its ok! and the style what ever you have mentioned is very old now its changed!

Amma: Iyyo you are always in hurry and not serious at all, you should know none of us have experience in all these, not even your grandparents!!!

This is what happens in my family if someone dares to opt for Arranged Marriage!!!

Very educative TV shows

At times we will have to explain in great details about concept which seems simple but has a huge impact on society, so one of such very critical debate which happened with my dear Blogger friend Sujatha leads me to write this post.

Before going ahead I want to sincerely thank my dear Sis who provided complete assistance, guidance, valuable time and knowledge sharing on the topics we are discussing today.

OKOK I am coming to the topic finally!

Not sure what makes people call some very knowledgeable Television series as CRAP, ABSURD, UNREALISTIC, MEANINGLESS, ETC ETC. But truly after great amount of research and deep dive discussions, I am wHole heartedly accepting that these shows are very important for everyone in the family and are also very educative. Given a chance I would ask all TV channels to stop broadcasting NEWS, SPORTS, QUIZES, Travel Shows for shows like Rakhi Ki Swayamwar, Rakhi Ki Adalat, Stuntmania, Roadies, Footloose, Datetrap, Superstud, Splitsvilla.

I will just go through few of these shows to explain you how important these shows are. (Mind you, explanation of just 1 or 2 is more than enough for you to accept how great these shows really are!!!) So here you go!

Rakhi Ki Swayamwar:

Come on guys! you want to teach your kids about Mythology and tell me how many of you have really explained Swayamwar concept in Mythology. Almost in every story of God, Goddess, Suras, Asuras there is swayamwar and so every princess was supposed to see some 20-30 Neighboring kings and decide on one (when all men are from mars!) and when you tell this to kid, it will immediately slap you with a question asking ‘then why did you marry daddy and not neighbor Uncle because he is so sweet and never asks me to study!!!’ So I would say a practical example helps kids understand this very difficult concept of choosing one man out of similar ones, very easily. Now that’s what our Rakhi did and also she is so kind and generous that she may be ready for explaining this again with Rakhi Ki Swayamwar Part 2 to make people understand this critical concept and help improve Mythological Understanding!! I truly respect the teacher in Rakhi Sawant.

So finally you are accepting right? Now standup say

Happy Teacher’s Day Meees Rakhi!

Repeat it 5 times!

Superstud:

Ok don’t just be completely mesmerized with Rakhi Sawant we have a male competitor also. And he is our very own Ashmit Patel, Oh u dint get who he is…. I should really educate you guys!!!

Thaaaat Inteha movie… umm hmmm u dint remember, Thaat Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamana u Still don’t get him! Fight Club – Members Only(I like the name, wonder is they knew no one else will even turn towards the poster also!!!) Still Nooo????

Ok MURDER!!! Ahaaaaaaa naughty, now u get it! Arrey no no its not MS I am talking about. it’s about the guy who is supposed to be hero of the film but only sits in jail from starting till ending of movie and rest of the THINGS taken care by our Imran Hashmi, Hmmm correct correct the other Guy! That’s our Male competitor

So our Guy Ashmit the handsome hunk! Is the one teaching young boys how to flirt and is supposed to be FLIRT GURU, wow how on earth such beautiful concept was not visualized all these yrs, My complete teenage is gone now I get such shows what a loss…

Continuing with this, I have heard from some very reliable source that for a female frog to find its potential mate the selection process is to hear to all male frogs croaking and the loudest of all gets the female frog, to understand this natures wonder and mystery with Homosapiens as example all you have to do is watch our very own Flirt Guru Ashmit Patel croaking on Superstud isn’t it how educative? Do you ever get such wonderful examples? See this is the reason I say you all people complaining should see these shows.

Now I know you all are waiting to be Blessed by Flirt Guru Ashmit Patel ( Papa had he attained this much earlier, he would be performing better THINGS in Murder!!! Hmmm )

So do I have to explain anymore???

Now do you accept totally that these are very educative???

Good!

Uffff Mission Accomplished! ;)

I would know how beautiful I am

It’s a beautiful dawn, birds chirping in the bush.
Mist of love touching my cheeks and made me blush,
Oh that cool moist breeze gave my curly hair a soft push.
But my mom says I am more beautiful than all of those.

Warmth of the sun making my skin glow,
That little stream in my garden I hear it run slow,
Beautiful fields of paddy where men walk with their plough.
But my mom says I am more beautiful than all of those.

Pretty jingle of the cattle bell, as it returns home.
Merry laughter of the child when it is hugged,
And all those beautiful birds returning to their nest.
But my mom says I am more beautiful than all of those.

I can sing and dance with this beauty of nature,
I can hug and touch these splendid gifts of god.
I can hear and love all these being around me.
But If only I could see, I would know how beautiful I am.

-Dedicated to a sweet person I met this weekend, who had no sight but loads of dreams!

I do right thing at right time!

Hello Hello!!! By seeing the post’s title, People who are thinking that I am very proud of things I do, I request you to please go ahead and read through the post.

Scene 1:

Entire week I wouldn’t have washed my office wear. I pester my dear husband to put it to washing . He not only does it but also he takes it off from drying, gives it for pressing and collects the same.

Now suddenly I realize!!! Dear god such a nice husband I have and immediately gear up and collect all his cloths put it to washing machine and also put it on strings to dry, I feel so proud of doing this right thing.

But alas, I forget to notice that it was in “Washed cloths to Pressing” Bin and with this I also forget take it off when it dries and night it showers badly!!!

Scene ends with Hubs searching his old shirts Suitcase to see which one fits now!!!

Scene 2:

My dear dad does most of the small work for me even today, so I decide to surprise him by personally going to the Coffee shop where he has been going from years and get freshly brewed coffee powder for my dad.

But alas I dint notice that it’s different shop owner and only later found out that the old guy had changed the shop but a similar one was in that place and I got a huge pack of Coffee Powder which was not my father’s favorite!!!

Scene ends with my father cribbing each time drinking the coffee prepared by mom and Coffee powder got by me!

Scene 3:

On a south Indian festival which is similar to Karva Chaut, I wanted to show off to MIL that I am starving whole day for my husband’s long life. I called her up in the evening and informed the details I did and also that I starved whole day for him. I was happy to hear MIL laughing at the other end but only later I realize that I forgot to note that month she had mentioned and My MIL calmly told “dear Daughter in law, festival is next month don’t worry you can do it again next month when I come there!!!”

Scene ends with me starving again!!!

Scene 4:

My best friend is seeing a beautiful girl in my office,

One day in cafeteria my dear friend was walking with me, I stopped midway talking to someone and later realized that he had walked ahead of me and I thought he will end up searching me. So went shouting his name, ran to him and felt very proud that I informed my best friend that I was with him.

But alas I dint realize that I disturbed a beautiful moment of my best friend seeing his girl and to add to this, it was the only time she turned to see him as well!!!

Scene ends with an angry stare from my best friend :(
I do right thing at right time!!!
