Happy Valentine's Day

Hmmm so here it is most awaited Valentine’s day. Its pretty to see girls dressed up, red roses and all romantic songs playing. Of course every day we see all these but today we observe these more isn’t it.

And I keep wondering how Valentine’s day has grown older and matured over the years. Here is the snapshot of how valentine’s day has grown up!

6th Standard: Feb 14th
Rushing to get ready, wear uniform and run to school. Come back play eat and sleep

8th Standard: Feb 14th
Giggling, whispering amongst girl gang “Valentine day means gussupusu gussupusu gussupusu haha he he hoho”

11th Standard: Feb 14th
First surprise gift placed in desk, fully scared and tears in eyes and looking around to find the person who kept it

Professional course 2nd yr: Feb 14th
Boyfriend 1= day of surprises smiles and parties
+ lot of unknown messages
+ lot of blank calls
+ lot of gifts from Anonymous

Employed First year: Feb 14th
Boyfriend 1 = Enemy,
Boyfriend2= Day of surprises, smiles and parties
+some unknown messages
+some blank calls

Day of surprises smiles and parties

First Year of marriage: Feb 14th

Oh yesterday was Valentine’s day na! I totally forgot

It is not our culture we should not celebrate it.

Spot on !! Short & witty, but so true. Its starts with love, blossoms to "Sweety, What marriage is if not celebration of love !!" and eventually graduates to "Arrrrgggg, What the hell has love got to do with married life, eh??"
