A long day at work, very tiring and hectic,
But when suddenly cool breeze hits and rain pours out side,
Little child in me peeps to see you, to dance with you in the rain!
A long drive to the country side, wandering to reach unknown destination
But when I see kids waving their hands at strangers and jumping to see them smile,
Little child in me peeps to see you, to hold your hand and smile all the way!
A series of struggle to make a perfect life, to carve a perfect toy,
But when I see all of those toys in different colors of life,
Little child in me peeps to see you, to hold all of them and love you all the way!
A serious play on the stage, heart touching emotions though it’s just a play,
But when I see them act to their perfection, tears rolls down my cheeks and
Little child in me peeps to see you and beg you not to leave!
A medicine at the bedside table, spectacles on the books which are full of memories,
But when I see you my love, who I have loved all through out my life,
Little child in me peeps to see you, will you hug me then?

A fitting tribute to a beautiful love. You brought out the delightful innocence of that little child inside all of us that knows how to be happy; much better than us! If only we listen to it more often!
