Drenched in heavy monsoon rain,
Danced to the rhythm of water droplets,
But When I remember that I still think,
I left many rain drops untouched.
Walked in the morning mist, touched those tender flower
Listened to many stories sitting around fire place,
But When I remember that I still think,
I left many rain drops untouched.
Was in your caring arms, got so much of your love
Treasured every moment with you
But When I remember that I still think,
I left many rain drops untouched.
Moved away from those days,
Left everything behind those windows which I only stare
But When I remember that I still think,
I left many rain drops untouched.

Ahh I wish we had never gronw up, so many raindrops still to be touched. Nostalgic and beautiful words!
@Jenny: whenever I am staring at rain I always get nostalgic and feel so many memories and people we have just left without touching!
That eternal longing to touch every falling raindrop – and the way you weaved that into every longing desire in our hearts and everything we wish we had done – brilliant poetry! Touching and elegant!
Lovely! "I left many drops untouched" This is the only single line which touched my heart because this line carries so much depth in it. Lovley poem. Keep writing:)
BTW I used the same pic for my poem which I have written on rain.
@Raj: oh poetry is successful only when reader sees himself or his memory in the lines of poem written :D So today I am very happy that I was able to do it :D Thanks a lot
